    To get around Dublin city, Dublin Bus provides a network of services around the city. 

  • Luas

    Our tram line is called the Luas. There are two Luas tram lines, the Red line and the Green line. The Red Line runs from Tallaght to The Point and from Saggart to Connolly. The Green Line runs from Brides Glen to St. Stephen’s Green through Sandyford. The Luas operates frequently from early morning to late evening and tickets are available from ticket machines.

  • Bus Éireann

    To get around the country, Bus Eireann offers a nationwide service.  The main bus depot in Dublin is Bus Aras situated in the city centre behind the Custom House.

  • Dublin Bikes

    Dublin Bikes is a self-service bike rental system open to everyone from 14 years of age. There are 40 stations and 450 bikes in total allowing you to travel around the city centre at a leisurely pace.  3 day tickets are available for visitors to Dublin.



  • The Clarence

    The Clarence first opened its doors in 1852. The hotel was refurbished in the 1930’s and its location on the Quays, the thoroughfare for entering and leaving the city, made it the perfect location for an eclectic clientele, from visiting clergymen to bawdy musicians. This tired and shabby stopover was bought by Bono and The Edge in 1992 and transformed into a contemporary boutique hotel, the kind of place that they would choose to stay themselves, if visitors to Dublin city.
